The Birth of Jonah Edward

I had the privilege of photographing the birth of Jonah Edward Vines last week! It was simply amazing and breath-taking! I think the pictures and slide show will speak for themselves. The experience left me exhilarated and speechless~the miracle of life is just beautiful! Congratulations to the Vines family!

The Messer Family

I loved meeting the Messer family! They are such an amazing, sweet family of four! We met at the Broadmoor for a lovely family session recently. They were such an easy family to photograph and the children were very cooperative (and so cute and sweet!). Here are a few pictures from the session as well as a slide show!

An Engagement session at the Garden of the Gods-Valerie and Eric

I love the Garden of the Gods here in Colorado Springs~it is just breathtaking and always leaves me with a sense of awe and wonder. I had an opportunity to photograph an engagement session there and indeed it was the perfect setting! Valerie and Eric are a sweet couple and the atmosphere there complemented their easy-going personalities while showcasing their affection for one another. Operation Love Reunited Session-The Kuniyuki Family

I recently had the honor of photographing the Kuniyuki family as they prepared for their husband/father to leave for a thirteen month deployment. They are an amazingly strong, happy family and were simply a pleasure to photograph. Here are a couple of the photos from the shoot as well as a slide show. A Picture Perfect Day

Can you say "amazing"? That's exactly what my last photography session was! Recently, I met with a beautiful, multi-generational family for an on location shoot at the luxurious Broadmoor Resort. The weather was perfect, with a lovely summer breeze and beautiful Colorado sunshine glistening on the lake. Here are a few pictures from the session~Enjoy!

OpLove supports U.S. Military families by offering special sessions with a patriotic edge during their enlistment, focusing on deployments– before and more importantly, after, at their reunion when the deployment has terminated and the soldier is safely home– usually in an airport. Beautiful Baby Girl!

I had the honor of photographing an absolutely gorgeous baby girl recently. She was not only beautiful, but positively a joy to photograph. She was so sweet and graciously allowed for several outfit changes and poses and never once got fussy~but she did get a bit sleepy towards the end:)! Here are a few pictures from the session.

Exciting New Photography Props!

A Family Affair

I had an absolutely awesome time photographing this family of nine (soon to be ten)! There are maternity pictures as well as fun, candid family pictures included~The family was so fun and energetic and interacted with one another so well! The children were also so cooperative and politely complied with my requests and seemed to have fun in the meantime. They were a true pleasure to photograph!

Behind the Lens

My goal is to capture beautiful, simple moments that make you smile each time you look at them. I work in ordinary settings (both indoors and outdoors) with natural light. As far as my style, it's kind of a mixture between classic portraiture and lifestyle photography with a whimsical edge.

My photo sessions are different from the standard studio photography experience. We laugh, play, and joke. Overall, its extremely important to me that each client is in love with the finished photographs, so we work together during the session to create beautiful images that you can treasure for years to come.

My first love is photographing families and children, but I have also photographed weddings, boudoir sessions, and senior portraits. I think I enjoy photographing children and families most because I am a mom, and it feels very natural for me to snuggle babies and chase toddlers. Most of all, I love the friendships Ive formed with my clients and being able to capture their children as they grow.
